Preventing bullying - assistance for schools
In autumn 2019, the the Romanian Education Act has been updated with articles regarding bullying-prevention at school (Legea nr. 221/2019 pentru modificarea şi completarea Legii educaţiei naţionale nr. 1/2011).
On 10 January 2020, the methodology specifying the application of the 2019 Act was also published. This methodology details the responsibilities of the school in terms of bullying prevention, treatment, and (further) training of students and teachers to prevent bullying.
As part of our VR NOT BULLIES Erasmus + program, a curriculum has been developed that includes the use of VR tools and 360-degree short films, which could not be tested due to the epidemic situation, but will be up-to-date and useful for many schools in the autumn.
The training tools are supplemented by an extensive training material addressed to schools that can be consulted already in English:
