1. Seller information
This document sets out the conditions for ordering and buying the book sold through the website www.sec.ro (the “Website”).

Hereinafter, the organisation is referred to as the “Seller” and the person placing an order on the Website as the “Buyer”.
By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and accept these Terms and Conditions.
2. The product
The Seller sells the book Poezii cu nebunii. Versuri trăsnite și exerciții de înțelegere și comunicare în limba română (author: Oana Borviz, illustrations: Oana Ispir), presented on the product page of the Website.
The main features of the book (format, number of pages, ISBN, language, recommended age) are shown on the product page. Images are for information only; colours may differ slightly due to screen display.
The book is an activity book: children can write and work directly in its pages.
Orders are fulfilled while stocks last. If the product is no longer available after the order has been placed, the Buyer will be informed and the amount paid will be refunded in full within 14 days at the latest.
3. Placing and confirming orders
Orders are placed through the order form on the Website. To place an order, the Buyer provides the information needed for processing and delivery: full name, delivery address, e-mail address, phone number and, where applicable, billing details (for legal entities: name, tax ID, registered office).
The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
Before completing the order, the Buyer can check and correct the information entered and sees the total amount to be paid. The order button indicates the obligation to pay (for example: “Comandă cu obligație de plată” – order with obligation to pay).
After placing the order, the Buyer receives an e-mail confirming that the order has been registered. The distance contract is concluded when the Seller sends, by e-mail, confirmation that the order has been accepted, after the payment has been confirmed.
The Seller reserves the right to contact the Buyer to clarify order details and to refuse orders with incomplete or clearly incorrect information; in this case, any amounts received are refunded in full.
4. Prices and delivery costs
All prices are in Romanian lei (RON) and are final prices. The Seller is not registered for VAT.
Price of one book: 31 lei
Postal delivery: 11 lei per order
Total for an order of one copy: 42 lei
For orders of up to 5 copies, the price of the products is calculated according to quantity and delivery costs 11 lei per order.
For orders of more than 5 copies, delivery costs may differ. If you would like more than 5 copies, please contact us before ordering at sec@sec.ro and we will let you know the total cost. The total price, including all mandatory costs, is communicated to the Buyer before the order is finally placed.
The invoice is included in the parcel.
5. Payment
Payment is made online by bank card (Visa and Mastercard) through the payment processor PayU. Transactions are made in Romanian lei (RON).
Payments are processed securely by PayU S.A., Poznań, Poland, a payment institution authorised and supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF). To pay, the Buyer is redirected to PayU’s secure page, where they enter their card details. Transactions may require additional authentication (3-D Secure), as required by the issuing bank.
The Seller has no access to bank card details and does not store them. The Seller never asks for card details to be sent by e-mail, phone or any other unsecured means.
The order is processed after PayU confirms the payment. If the payment is not authorised, the order is not considered placed.
Any refunds are made to the same card used for payment, unless otherwise agreed, at no extra cost to the Buyer.
6. Delivery
Delivery is available within Romania only, by post, to the address provided by the Buyer.
The parcel is handed over to the postal service within 3 working days of payment confirmation at the latest. The estimated delivery time is 3–7 working days from payment confirmation. The maximum legal delivery period is 30 days from the conclusion of the contract.
The standard delivery cost is 11 lei per order. In case of delays, the Buyer will be informed by e-mail or phone.
The risk of loss of or damage to the product passes to the Buyer when they, or a person they designate, take physical possession of the product.
7. Cancelling an order
The Buyer may cancel the order free of charge before the parcel is shipped, by sending an e-mail to sec@sec.ro with the order number. The amount paid is refunded in full within 14 days at the latest.
8. Right of withdrawal and returns
Under Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 (OUG nr. 34/2014), a Buyer who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of the day on which they, or a person they designate, take possession of the product, without giving any reason.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer sends a clear statement to sec@sec.ro or by post to the address above, stating the order number. The model withdrawal form may be used, but it is not mandatory. The form can be downloaded here: .....
The product must be returned to the registered office address given in section 1, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after communicating the decision to withdraw. The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the Buyer.
The Buyer is liable only for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and characteristics.
As the book is an activity book, completing the exercises, writing, drawing or leaving other marks in its pages goes beyond simply examining the product. A copy that has been written in cannot be resold and its value is considered fully diminished. In this case, the Seller may reduce the refund by the value of the book and refund only the standard delivery cost, where applicable. If you are thinking of returning the book, please examine it without writing in it.
The Seller refunds all amounts received, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of being informed of the decision to withdraw. Refunds are made using the same payment method (to the card used), at no cost to the Buyer. The Seller may withhold the refund until it has received the returned product or until the Buyer has provided proof of having sent it back, whichever is earlier.
9. Damaged or non-conforming products
Products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021 (OUG nr. 140/2021).
If the product received is damaged, has printing defects or does not match the order, the Buyer can contact the Seller at sec@sec.ro, giving the order number and, if possible, sending photos of the product and packaging. In such cases, the Seller replaces the product or refunds its price and covers the transport costs.
The consumer’s legal rights regarding product conformity are not limited by this document.
10. Personal data protection
Personal data provided when placing orders are processed by the Seller, as controller, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), for managing orders, processing payments, delivering products, communicating with Buyers and meeting legal (including tax) obligations.
Data needed for delivery are passed to the postal operator, and data needed for payment are processed by PayU as an independent controller.

11. Intellectual property
The content of the Website, including texts, images, graphic elements and copyright-protected materials, may not be copied, distributed or used without the consent of the rights holders, except where permitted by law. Buying the book does not transfer any copyright in it.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
For questions or complaints about orders, Buyers can write to sec@sec.ro. The Seller responds to complaints within 15 days at the latest.
Disputes are settled amicably. If this is not possible, consumers can contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), www.anpc.ro, use the Alternative Dispute Resolution procedure (SAL): https://anpc.ro/ce-este-sal/, or go to the competent courts in Romania.
Nothing in this document limits consumers’ mandatory rights.
13. Final provisions
This document is governed by Romanian law and the relevant rules of the European Union.
The Seller may update these Terms and Conditions when necessary. Each order is governed by the version in force on the date it is placed.
These Terms and Conditions are available in Romanian, Hungarian and English. In case of any discrepancy, the Romanian version prevails.
